Out of desperation, Reese reached out to district attorney Joshua Harto, revealing his findings and offering to expose Batman's identity on live television. Harto, a corrupt official, saw an opportunity to destroy the masked vigilante and took advantage of Reese's trust.
However, Batman's keen detective skills allowed him to intercept Harto's plan and save Reese's life. Reese's world crumbled as Batman revealed Harto's true nature and the danger he had been in.
Aftermath
