Ibrahimovic Signs One-Year Deal with Manchester United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a one-year deal with Manchester United, the club has announced.

The 35-year-old striker left United at the end of last season after scoring 28 goals in all competitions.

He has been a free agent since then, but has now returned to Old Trafford on a one-year contract.

Ibrahimovic Excited to Be Back at Manchester United

Ibrahimovic said he was "excited" to be back at United and that he was "looking forward to helping the team win more trophies".

"I have always said that I had a great time at Manchester United and I am very happy to be back," he said.

"I want to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to play for them again and I am looking forward to working with Jose Mourinho once again."

Mourinho Delighted to Have Ibrahimovic Back

United manager Jose Mourinho said he was "delighted" to have Ibrahimovic back at the club.

"Zlatan is a great player and a great character," he said.

"He brings a lot of experience and quality to the team and I am sure he will be a valuable asset to us this season."

Ibrahimovic Could Make United Debut Against Newcastle

Ibrahimovic could make his second debut for United against Newcastle at Old Trafford on Saturday.

He is likely to start on the bench, but could come on as a substitute in the second half.

Ibrahimovic's return to United is a major boost for the club, who are looking to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
