h1> Route 73 Delay In South Jersey h2> What Is The Reason For The Delays?
Multiple-day delays are possible for Route 73 traffic in South Jersey due to a bridge maintenance project.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) says there will be a full closure of the Tuckahoe River bridge on Route 73 in Cape May County for bridge maintenance starting at 9 a.m. Monday, March 27.
The closure is expected to last until 6 a.m. Friday, March 31.
h3> Alternate RoutesDetours will be in place during the closure.
Motorists traveling southbound on Route 73 will be directed to take Exit 11 (Cape May Court House-Erma) and follow Route 9 south to Stone Harbor Boulevard (County Road 600).
They will then take Stone Harbor Boulevard east to Route 9 south and continue to Route 47.
Motorists traveling northbound on Route 73 will be directed to take Exit 20 (Marmora) and follow Route 50 west to Route 9 north.
They will then take Route 9 north to Stone Harbor Boulevard (County Road 600) and continue to Route 73 north.
