Manchester City came from behind twice to draw 3-3 away to Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday.
Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden scored for City, while Josko Gvardiol netted a late equalizer. Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo scored for Real Madrid.
The match was played at a frantic pace, with both teams creating chances throughout. City took the lead in the 12th minute when Bernardo Silva fired a low shot into the bottom corner. Real Madrid equalized in the 21st minute when Benzema headed in a cross from Vinicius Junior.
Foden restored City's lead in the 53rd minute with a stunning long-range strike. However, Real Madrid again drew level in the 73rd minute when Vinicius Junior scored from close range. Gvardiol then put City back in front in the 78th minute with a header, but Rodrygo equalized for Real Madrid in the 89th minute.
The second leg of the tie will be played at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on April 12.
