Real Madrid Vs Man City First Leg Score

Manchester City Draw 3-3 Away to Real Madrid in Champions League Quarterfinal First Leg

Six-Goal Thriller Sets Up Intriguing Second Leg

Real Madrid Now Unbeaten in 14 Home Champions League Knockout Matches

Manchester City and Real Madrid played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first-leg match on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid.

City took a shock lead in the second minute through Kevin De Bruyne, but Real Madrid responded quickly with goals from Karim Benzema in the 11th minute and Vinicius Junior in the 73rd minute. Gabriel Jesus equalized for City in the 78th minute, but Benzema gave Real Madrid the lead once again in the 83rd minute with a stunning volley.

However, City refused to give up and Bernardo Silva scored a dramatic equalizer in the 90th minute to earn the visitors a vital away goal. The draw leaves the tie evenly poised ahead of the second leg at the Etihad Stadium on April 27.

Real Madrid have now scored in every home Champions League knockout game since a 2-0 loss against Barcelona in 2011. They are also unbeaten in their last 14 home Champions League knockout matches, a run that stretches back to the 2016-17 season.

City, meanwhile, will be disappointed not to have won the game after taking an early lead. However, they will take heart from the fact that they scored three away goals and have a good chance of progressing to the semifinals if they can win the second leg at home.
